Terms of Service

These Terms govern the At the Atelier platform and the goods and services a registered jewellery business buys from us. By using the service, you agree to them.

1. Service and eligibility

We provide a branded Digital Ring Builder, an optional Prototypes Kit and made-to-order ring manufacturing. The service is business-to-business. You represent that you are authorised to bind your business; we do not contract with consumers.

2. Accounts and subscription

• You are responsible for credentials and activity under your account.
• The builder has one free 30-day trial per business. Self-serve signup currently requires no card.
• The trial does not convert automatically and we do not charge at its end. Access pauses unless you separately choose and activate a paid subscription.
• Before any paid subscription starts, we show its price, tax, billing frequency, renewal terms and cancellation route and ask for your express agreement.
• Cancellation of a paid subscription stops future renewal; access continues to the paid-period end.
• After expiry, admin access ends and customers see a neutral work-in-progress state. After 60 dormant days the widget may be removed without deleting account history.

3. Prototypes Kit

The Kit is a non-precious, non-resale business demonstration set shipped to the registered address. Its account credit is non-transferable, not cash-redeemable and requires an active subscription. See The Kit and Shipping.

4. Custom orders

• Each ring is made to its frozen order specification.
• The retailer may decline the order before payment. Paying confirms the frozen quote and specification.
• Successful payment triggers a hold on the chosen stone. Our team reviews and normally accepts within 1 business day; production normally takes 4 weeks.
• A paid custom order cannot be cancelled by the retailer. If we cannot accept or fulfil it, we cancel and refund the retailer in full.
• After acceptance, stone purchase and production begin and the order cannot be changed, cancelled or refunded.
• We ship to the retailer, not the end consumer.

5. Payments, tax and refunds

Gateway partners process payments; we do not store card data. Applicable GST/tax is itemised, and a tax invoice is issued. Price changes receive at least 30 days' notice and do not alter a paid period. The Refund & Cancellation Policy forms part of these Terms.

6. Branding, customer relationship and acceptable use

You retain your branding and grant us a limited service-delivery licence. Your consumer sale is under your brand, retail price, terms and consumer-law obligations; we are not party to it. Do not reverse-engineer, unlawfully use, disrupt or unauthorisedly resell the platform.

7. Intellectual property and availability

Platform code, design, 3D models and technology remain ours; subscription grants a limited, non-transferable term licence. We aim for availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service and may perform maintenance.

8. Liability and indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the preceding 3 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss. You indemnify us for claims arising from your use, consumer sale or breach.

9. Termination, law and changes

We may suspend or terminate for breach. These Terms are governed by Indian law with exclusive Mumbai, Maharashtra jurisdiction. Material updates are posted and notified by email.
