Trial & Subscription Policy

The free trial, absence of an automatic charge, notices, expiry and return to service—stated plainly.

Short version: The self-serve trial gives one business 30 days of full access. We do not collect a card at signup, the trial does not convert automatically, and no charge is made when it ends. Access pauses unless the retailer separately activates a paid plan.

1. Free trial

One full-platform 30-day trial per business, with no charge during it.
No payment method is collected during the current self-serve signup.
The trial begins when the storefront is created.
Kit buyers may receive further subscription access under the Kit terms.

2. End of trial and paid access

The trial does not convert automatically. Before it ends, we may explain the available paid subscription and how to activate it. Before any payment or recurring billing begins, we show the price, tax, billing frequency, renewal terms and cancellation route and ask the retailer to agree. If the retailer does nothing, access pauses and no payment is taken.

3. Trial notices

We may send email and dashboard reminders before expiry so the retailer can decide whether to activate paid access. A reminder is not an invoice, payment request or automatic-renewal notice, and it does not authorise a charge.

4. Cancellation

The free trial needs no cancellation to avoid a charge. A retailer may stop using it at any time. If a paid subscription is later activated, it can be cancelled in the dashboard or by emailing support@attheatelier.com from the registered address. The paid-plan terms shown at activation govern renewal and remaining access.

5. After expiry

Retailer admin access ends and offers a resubscription path.
The white-label storefront shows customers only a neutral “work in progress” state, never billing or platform details.
No further charge is made.
Resubscribing restores settings, designs and order history.
After 60 cancelled days the widget may be removed, without deleting the account/history.

6. Data

Settings, designs and order history remain for restoration and legal record retention. Personal-data deletion requests are handled under the Privacy Policy.
